121 Executive Development
121 Executive Development is an intensive intervention for senior members of an organisation who wish to gain an external perspective of their performance and outline a plan for developing themselves as individuals inside and outside of the workplace. In order to meet the varying needs and lifestyles of our clients our programmes are tailored on a 121 basis and offered through a mixture of face to face and remote sessions.
Our approach to executive development takes into consideration the following important principles:
Individual Orientation
It is essential that our team spends sufficient time to get to know any new client on an intimate level to understand what sort of person they are, their lifestyle, their individual needs and aspirations. We also check out with you your preferred logistics; venue, telephone or face to face.
Workplace Review
360° People emphasise the importance of understanding your role within the workplace, your responsibilities, vision and the needs of your organisation. Only when this is achieved can the appropriate intervention be explored.
Personality, Behaviour and Skills Review
A personality, behaviour and skills review helps you and us understand where your strengths and limitations lie and thus enables the identification of areas where development could take place. We use a variety of psychometric tools to support the information that you give us, to build up a practical personal profile.
Lifestyle Review
Exploring your work-life balance to ensure that you performance at work is matched to your time outside of work to enables you to become more effective as a whole.
A Goal-Based Approach
Effective coaching is goal-based. Having goals helps maintain personal motivation for change. The establishment of goals at the outset of the 121 intervention helps to identify priorities and establish clarity about where subsequent activity should be centred. By focusing on goals and outcomes greater personal success is assured.
121 Personal Effectiveness Coaching is designed to fit around your schedule and the timings structured to suit your needs. As rule of thumb however, a typical coaching session will be a maximum of two hours per session. It is generally agreed that up to two hours allows sufficient time to develop and explore constructive goals in bite sized chunks. It might be you wish to supplement or replace subsequent sessions with telephone coaching. 360° People will create a coaching contract with you that sets out a joint commitment to the coaching process.
