Presenting with Confidence and Credibility

“Depth of conviction counts for more than height of logic and enthusiasm is worth more than knowledge.” David Peebles.

Even those who possess expert knowledge and are the most gifted and talented in their field can fail to convey their key  messages in a credible way if they do not confidently engage with their audiences.

The objectives for this course are:

To understand what makes an “exciting communicator” who presents enthusiastically, persuasively and with impact.

To understand how to construct a cohesive and structured presentation.

To identify effective ways of overcoming anxiety and building confidence.

To learn how to build rapport and engage effectively with the audience.

To consider the use of positive body language and the impact of non-verbal behaviours.

To understand presenting from the audiences perspective by considering the ‘Listener Train of Thought’ so that your message is understood.

To gain practical experience and receive constructive critical feedback on your performance.
